These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Student Desk ("the Portal"). Programs on the Portal are run by the organizations that publish them ("the organizers"). By creating an account or applying to a program, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that takes place under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2. Acceptable use

When using the Portal, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Impersonate another person or apply on someone else's behalf without permission.
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or irrelevant content.
  • Disrupt, misuse, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Portal.

3. Applications and eligibility

Each program may set its own eligibility criteria and deadlines. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance — decisions are made by the program's organisers. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you submit.

4. Payments

Some programs require a fee, paid by bank transfer. You must submit genuine proof of payment. Fees are processed and verified by the organizer's staff, and any refunds are subject to the policy of the specific program.

5. Admit cards

If your application is accepted, an admit card may be issued through the Portal. Admit cards are personal to you and can be verified by their roll number or QR code. Do not alter, copy, or share them fraudulently.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the information and files you submit. By submitting them, you grant the organizers permission to use and process them solely to administer the program you applied to.

7. Suspension

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent or abusive activity.

8. Service provided "as is"

The Portal is provided on an "as is" basis. While we work to keep it accurate and available, we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from its use.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Portal after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
